Title: Parfait Recipe
Post by: mateo on September 08, 2011, 12:34:57 PM
Here's kind of my own touch on a parfait recipe. Found it to be a delicious nutritious snack.

Mix plain yogurt, blueberries, wheat flakes and honey together in a bowl. Let sit for 1 minute to let wheat flakes soften and enjoy. Also for this recipe I used organic whole milk yogurt and raw wildflower honey, but you can use whatever you like. Instead of wheat flakes, you can also use granola.

This recipe requires no cooking. It is eaten in a similar way as cereal.

I think I'll try the same thing with strawberries instead of blueberries simple because they taste better to me.
