It's already illegal for me, although I don't see this having a positive effect either way.
Hmm...I haven't kept up with the state to state laws. Didn't know it was illegal in North Carolina.
It's legal to grow as an ornamental in NC but not to use as a drug.
it's $25 fine, like a traffic ticket if they catch you using it as a drug in NC.
Last traffic ticket I got cost me $185ish.
You got a ticket in NC???
????
Yep, aggressive driving. The clerk at the court house dropped it to speeding, 30 in a 25 zone. The fine was $10 but the court fees racked it up to $185ish
LOL, i meant a Salvia ticket!
not a speeding ticket.
Oh, LOL! No.
They are making everything illegal and it wont stop until we all stand up and do something about it. Writing letters to congressmen seems to do little. Voting seems to do little. No matter what they promise when running, they keep doing the same stuff once in office. I say take to the streets. Join your local occupy movement or at least attend a weekend event.

Hey syd
You can go first. The rest will follow later.
Just like the rest will occupy earth. Its a lost cause.
You think the occupy movement is a lost cause? Not everyone sees it that way. Non violent protest and resistance has overcome many times. Look at ghandi and resistance to brittish occupation. Look at the civil rights movement. There are many examples. When we broke free from brittain it looked like a lost cause at first. None of those things happened overnight, they all took years of hard work but they all paid off.
The main thrust of occupy as i see it is to clean out the corruption legal and otherwise that has taken over the govt. After that the rest will be easy.
