We lost one of the greatest artists of the 20th century today.

"Thats right, the Mascara Snake, fast and bulbous. Bulbous also tapered, also a tin tear drop."

r.i.p. Don.
Some say he showed signs of having M.S. from the 70's - still, he pursued the music and the message till 2010.
r.i.p. Captain Beefheart

RIP Beefheart!
I'll never forget the first time I heard "Electricity" som 12 years ago. The first track I heard of him, which started my journey into his music. I had gotten a tape with much different 60's music, and this one was the one I kept fast forwarding to, or backtracking to :D

Another little anecdote is from Japan som 3 years ago, going home from a psytrance party in Osaka, taking the subway very high on LSD to Kyoto. A groovy experience, only enrichened to so many extra levels by his "Tropical Hot Dog Night, which I had on repeat. Aaah. I will never forget how that track made that subway trip a memorable event out of this world! :D
