Title: Hannah Montana crosses the bridge....
Post by: laughingwillow on December 11, 2010, 12:26:17 PM
I really did laugh out loud when reading the linked article.

I wonder if she's learned anything about "reverse tolerance" yet? I'd like to watch the vid when she finally has a break-through experience.......  Its all fun and games until someone "misplaces" their body for a spell. :smoke2:

I was watching that, waiting for it to hit her, see her eyes roll back into her head and fall backinto the chair.  either shitty salvia or not a good hit on her part.

she does not strike me as someone who would try salvia, I wonder if it was just a mistake or peer pressure.

it's kinda sad but in writing this I can almost taste salvia... I use to enjoy it a lot. some very fond memories. :smoke1

Wow I still want to bang her, even after that. Also, if I was her I would have knocked out the camera girl. She was annoying. I also wouldn't call that weak salvia. Would I call it salvia? IDK...

you don't think it was salvia? I think somewhere it was stated that it was salvia. and they were not really passing it around like weed. she also said something about having a bad trip lol even though I don't think she was trippin'

I think she's crazy. No different than any other teenager, she's just popular and has our children's attention. Thus the only reason we are talking about her and not what our kids are doing. Its a twisted world we live in.

Well, if she has our children's attention and they see her puffing on a bong filled with salvia, I'm guessing that could influence said children's take on the sacrament in question. Or maybe the po-po will feel the need to react after parents get their undies in bunches due to the publicity sally might garner from this close encounter.

I must admit LW the idea of this leading to illegalization crossed my mind as well, but doubt this is going to end up in anything like that. She smoked once, she is not coming out and saying it ruined her life or she is addicted to it(that would be f*cking retarded)

also I know that she has this huge tween and teenie-bopper following, and I know she has a great deal of influence over them but I can't see this catching on among them. it's not consistent with her previous ideals. and Sally D scares the shit out of most people. it's not a feel good drug and it's not an easy/fun drug, which is why it still has not really caught on that much.

I could be wrong and shit could hit the fan but I hope it doesn't go that way. The last thing any human needs is less freedom.

Bah....

The state I live in made Salvia illegal this summer (which was quite a shock: in the past they've always just followed the federal scheduling, but they broke convention for Salvia).

You know what justification was given by the legislator who introduced the bill to criminalize it? I swear to God I'm not making this up: he saw a segment on "Dr. Phil," and it was really scary. And he admitted that was what motivated him. Not research.  Not reason. But Dr. Phil.

We have a lot of really, really stupid politicians (I don't mean this as a criticism of them, merely as a statement of fact).  Something like this could easily inspire some of them to try to do something stupid.
