Aloha all,
I just wanted to share photos of my newest seeds, all from Ayahuasca Journey. For those of you who have been skeptical (and I've been one of them) let me say that my dealings with A-J were nothing but professional and smooth-sailing. A-J is a good guy (guys?); kudos to him for providing some rare and important seeds.
Let's just see if I can get the buggers germinated! I believe that these seeds were harvested a few months ago (my own fault for not ordering at the end of summer), so I'll have to keep my fingers crossed. I'm especially interested in the DC seeds. For those knowledgeable souls out there, do these seeds look like the real McCoy? they look like angels to me!
Sorry that my photography skills are less than stellar (Zaka, you're the man with a camera!). I can only upload three pics at a time, so these will have to do for now.
Best,
Cunning Platypus
Irie Platy,
Good to see your on these seeds too.....
I will be posting more of my happy snapshots as soon as I recover from the trashing we got from the Hurricane.....which sadly wiped out my best friend & his family!
Nuff to say that I've had good germ rates on the yellow & black so far......
What's in the package marked "N.N."????
Good luck on your grow!
Respect
Z
Aloha Zaka,
Really sorry to hear about the hurricane taking its heavy toll on your friend. We get some big blows here, too, though not usually on the magnitude of a hurricane (frequent small earthquakes are interesting, though). Godspeed on a quick recovery.
As far as the seeds marked "NN"; I'll be damned if I know what they are. I've written to A-J, so hopefully I'll know within a day or two what he sent. They're definitely similar to the other Caapi seeds. I'll post again when I find out their identity.
You take great photos, so please do post some new ones of your seedlings.
Stay well.

Those diplo seeds are pretty nifty looking. I hope you can get some good germination out of them.
Aloha Alice,
I don't have high hopes for the DC seeds in particular, as I've read that, if authentic, they have a VERY limited viability (only a matter of days, or weeks at best). Still, worth a shot. To (mis)quote the late Michael Crichton, from Jurassic Park, "Nature Will find A Way if given Half a Chance."
About half the seeds are already planted up, so I will let you know if and when life appears.
Best from Hawaii,
Cunning Platypus
thanks friend for the post, and tell him you have confidence in their seeds, they will germinate and you may have these beautiful plants in your garden. some new seeds ayahuasca-journey

That's nice. E novo berries have a very short life. Even fresh ones will not sprout 100% and each day they sit lowers the germ rate. I happen to have these plants blooming and producing. If you are in usa and want e novo, contact me because you will get them in a couple days, not a couple weeks. You also dodge any potential problem with customs.
I may be ordering some of those seeds myself, the ones that have a long shelf life. Some seeds like stevia are almost worthless even right off the plant. You might get 1 out of 100 to sprout. Others are tougher.
