Zaka, i am afraid to tell you that any of these seeds you are germinating are not DC/ niether /BR, i remenber AJ saying me that he confused all the seeds, and when he came to me the real chali plant just was beguining to bloom the real chali seeds are just starting to fall, i will be in collecting proccess those days hope it doesn't rain too much.
Peace
Alberto
Please post pics of the new DC seeds after collecting them. If they bare those ruffled samaras I was talking about, I would be quite happy!

Irie Alberto,
So let me ask you what the plant and seeds in this link www.forums.ayahuasca.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=23132 (http://http://forums.ayahuasca.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=23132) Are? ???
In the photo of the plant in flower, the seeds seem to be the same as the ones I have in this post!
So yeah! Confused? <!-- s:bconf: -->:bconf:<!-- s:bconf: -->

Irie,
So let me get this right;
The seeds labeled "diplopterys" are in fact ??? ?............."White Caapi"
The seeds labeled "U.T." are in fact ??? ?..............."Red Caapi"
The seeds labeled "Black Caapi" are in fact ??? ?........"Black Caapi"??
The seeds labeled "Yellow Caapi" are in fact ??? ?....."Yellow Caapi"?
The seeds labeled "Blanco" are in fact ??? ?..... <!-- s:bconf: -->:bconf:<!-- s:bconf: --> "White Caapi"
but don't look like the supposed white caapi that came in mistakenly labeled as diplopterys <!-- s:bconf: -->:bconf:<!-- s:bconf: --> <!-- s:bconf: -->:bconf:<!-- s:bconf: -->
I'm trying get to the bottom of this <!-- s:bconf: -->:bconf:<!-- s:bconf: -->

Up-date; found this plant Stigmaphyllon mathiasiae (Banisteriopsis mathiasiae) that has similar seeds...http://sweetgum.nybg.org/vh/specimen.php?irn=367760
Not sure this doesn't add to the confusion <!-- s:bconf: -->:bconf:<!-- s:bconf: -->
i was talking to AJ this morning, he told me all of those seeds are caapi let's see what strain of caapi we get from the last one you list, by the other hand, we went to take pictures of the other strain of DC in the botanical farm, i think vajrapirate will be happy to see those seeds, we took close picture of the seed and vine.
AJ will be posting this soon as we used his camera.
peace
Alberto
Oh yeah the seeds in the other thread definitely bear ruffled samaras!
Is this the plant they are referring to as "Chaliponga"?
Either way, I am happy to see that if it hasn't actually been found, that you guys are atleast getting much, much closer! you're the only people we have in the right area to find the plant
So thank you for all your efforts!
Namaste.
Irie,
Up-date for Don't know WTF.....
Just checked the germ chamber today & what ever it is; IT'S ALIVE!!!

Zaka, this is the plant that some people confuse here as DC i've seen some people supplying these leaves to reliable vendors in US and Europe but i haven't heard regrets in any forums, the vine looks like a banisteriopsis to me it also has the dots on the stem leaf, but it appears to contain DMT though i haven't tried myself but i heard reports that is not as potent as the chaliponga plant we work with!!, Zaka it seems that you are not conviced that we have the real plant?, the plant you have is a real one!!
namaste
Alberto
Irie,
Ahh ha! So looking at this post on another foruml
www.shaman-australis.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=26157 (http://http://www.shaman-australis.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=26157)
It would seem these are Banisteriopsis muricata....
Which is very cool!!!! & means I can rename this thread, again!

hey guys, does appear that large winged seeds which I thought was a white caapi, Banisteriopsis muricata proved to be a sacha-ayahuasca or as they say here in our region, the leaves contain some proven DMT.
according to our tests it would be Alberto Banisteriopsis muricata ... We have seeds available ....
and boys by the name wrong forgive trying to be clear and precise species and botanical names of plants ...
ayahuasca-journey
:lol: :lol: :lol:
Hey Zaka, i think that you did found the real identity of this mysterious plant. I Have one seedling from the same source and it is indeed very different from other Banisteriospsis plants right from the start...
The pictures on the link you provided convinced me that it is "Stigmaphyllon mathiasiae (Banisteriopsis mathiasiae)":
Flowers colors (yellow like on the picture of this vendor's site) and the unique seeds look and appearance when still on the mother plant.
On top of that the specimen of this herbarium was collected in Pucallpa.
Plus, this vendor admitted having made identification mistakes...
I don't think it could be Banisteriopsis muricata since B. muricata flowers are pink and have seeds that have the same appearance as the seeds of the "black" sold by the same source (it seems that the black ayahuasca may be properly identified then since black ayahuasca is said to be B.muricata).
Any update on your plants ? I loved the pictures, thank you for this interesting thread.
Irie Bricole,
Thanks for the great info!!
My seedling didn't make it! Slugs got it!
Interesting your thoughts on the "Black" Caapi.
I have several doing very well!!!!
Do you have any thoughts on the other two strains the "White" & the "Red"????
Both grow almost identically and have a distinct leave shape with hairs!!!???
Respect,
Z
Haa damned slugs ! >:(
Well, apart from this mysterious plant, i have three seedlings of the cielo variety. Black caapi seeds haven't germinated yet but they indeed have a different shape from the cielo.
The mysterious aya (that is labeled as "white" on the vendor's site) started very big and hairy in life and twice the size of any caapi seedling since it's first day. The leaves have a leathery look and aren't as supple as caapi's. The color is of a darker kind of green. Somewhat like chaliponga (as i remember it when i saw it in Peru)...
I don't have any red seeds...
We are realy lucky to have access to such fascinating amazonian plants, even if the identification is sometimes difficult...thank you AJ !
Irie,
A big RESPECT to Bricole.
I am now in possession of his special vine.
I think it has already circum-navigated the globe!!!
Respect,
Z
hi...
these snaps are making closeness to the nature. Some of the seeds are so tiny. In India this may be more interesting as due to its different climate.
