I recently came across some P. Arundinacea seeds at a retailer's garden center and remember reading about it a small ammount at erowid as a DMT containing plant... however, this plant doesn't get much attention, so I was wondering if it would be possible (read: reasonable) for a person to extract DMT from this type of plant and what it is about this plant that causes its exclusion from most discussions about DMT
It does contain dmt but only in very small amounts. The reason most people won't bother with it is because you need perhaps 50lb to get a dose. Very few want to process that quantity of material and try to clean out the impurities that are always there. In theory it's a good source because it grows very fast but I don't know of anyone who grows it for extraction.
Is it also true that Phalaris contains a significant amount of 5-MEO-DMT it it as well??? Could be the reasont it it not highly valued---- senorsal---
Phalaris contains a lot of psyo-active alkaloids wich could be procesed to an extract.
The amount needed whasn't that much i thought, but on the other hand it grows like hell when its planted near a waterpool or when given water regularly.
I have got mine for 2 years now and it will take over my garden if i dont controlle it
