Title: Psilocine Turffles legal in Nederland
Post by: boomer2 on June 22, 2009, 01:58:39 PM
Dear John,

In the past 6 months we have been working hard to get everything on the rails for this summer.

After the ban on mushrooms on December 1st of last year. We had to divert to sclerotia because we saw in the new law that these sclerotia were not mentioned and still could be legal. It took quite some time to figure out whether it was or wasn't legal. In January we received the good news that the sclerotia remain legal!. We have been producing these sclerotia since about 12 years now, but it was only about 20 % of our turn over. Since January we had to produce a lot more and that took a little wile.

Please visit our new shop at www.magictruffles.com (http://www.magictruffles.com) you can use your same login and password as from the Procare shop you used to buy. During the summer we will add a whole new range of grow items as growing yourself becomes more interesting now that there are no longer fresh mushrooms available. Please check back from time to time.

At the moment bank transfer is the only way to pay. We are looking in to other options but due to the nature of our products, we are not accepted by credit card acquirers or Paypal. If any one has a solution do not hesitate to contact me.

Kind regards,

Murat

Aha! I've been getting emails from Shamanic Extracts with speshul deals on "truffles", but no vaguest reference to legality to be found in the emails or their site, nor did they answer my email about that.
Are "truffles" something other than sclerotia, or a different kind of sclerotia, or are truffles also legal, or what?
Bottom line, can i order the stuff and receive it legally?

Then i need to compare with what you're offering.

Also has anyone done business with Shamanic Extracts? I tried several years ago, but whoever was there then weirded me out and threatened me in a bizarre fashion, obviously a bit loco. Too much brugmansia, perhaps.

Ah, OK, some info here:
http://www.magictruffles.com/about/whatis.html (http://www.magictruffles.com/about/whatis.html)

"A truffle or a sclerotium (mv. sclerotia), is an underground hardening or thickening of the mycelium...
Technically and scientifically speaking, truffles are thus not mushrooms, and for this reason, they do not fall within the reach of the Opium Act." But i take it the Opium Act is a Dutch Phenomenon.
Does this have any bearing on US law?

Also, would the virola extract that Shamanic Extracts carries be legal to buy in the US? Anybody know?
