If memory serves, wasn't it 'bout 2yrs ago that Canada did the same??? I sorta get a bit of hopefullness going when I see Sativex being considered 'cuz from what I recall, Sativex is a full spectrum tincture basically of the cannabis plant. So, it seems to reason that if given medical protection, rhis fact puts another nail in the coffin of the Anslinger types....
I'm not sure how the feds can square their stance that mj has no medicinal purposes while they (the feds) continue to supply a handful of patients with medical reefer every month. One of these patients lives in Iowa. She has been receiving medical mj from the feds since 1979 or so. Every month she gets a canister packed with 300 j's of (prolly low-grade) weed.

I once knew a guy that knew...Anyway, his auntie cracked up a car the first time she smoked guv supplied herb and therefore gave the rest to her nephew...Long n short is that that guv stuff was at least 2-3 times better than the really nice Columbian Gold that was around at the time :smoke1
