no one is responding to my posts either. weird.
Part of the reason why the place is dead is because, we have a bunch of moderators and admins who never post. I have made numerous attempts to get the other admins permissions to remove some of the old mods and add some new ones, but every time, someone resists stating that its not fair to remove old mods/friends from their posts.
This is very frustrating to me because, they rarely ever post themselves but insist that things stay they way they are.
So, the place will continue to sit... and loose members to other, busier forums.
Other admins want to chime in here? I seriously think we could get some new mods and simply ask that they post regularly and try to bring some needed fresh air into this place. Hell, if I could actually get some things done without having to ask all the absent admins every time, I might even post more often.
yeah, i'm returning from limbo land, slowly but surely - work overkill - night and day stuff, plus a net connection that periodically gets run over by a tractor.
if all the active mods/admins posted to other active mods/admins, we'd have a lot more signs of life. (speaking for myself, here)
if you're absent, raise your hand. yeah, you. say something. - yeah, that's how it goes in a classroom - same sort of response.
can only work with what you got.
Well, if somebody else wants to mod the trade forum, I'm open to stepping down in favor of some fresh faces.

kemp: My advice would to do as you see fit. No other admin is really taking the time to make this a better place. And indecision appears to be the rule around here rather than the exception. So, go for it, mon. (However I'd appreciate it if toostoned could remain an honorary mod.)

Well.. I have to admit, that I am one of the mods doing not a good job here. I sometimes remove some topics or shift their locations, but I don't post enough I am aware.
I would like to keep my mod-post there, because sometimes inspiration kicks, and it is nice for me to have to read through the thread once in a while to see what people is up to.
But with Arjuna and I as the one's moderating, one more active person could be nice.
If not, I am ok with giving up my mod post, for someone more keen on the idea of posting.
I hope to get around sometimes with some reflections on spiritual matters though.
Satori: One doesn't have to be a mod to post. But you DO come around once in awhile.
