Title: DROP=SCENE
Post by: Avery L. Breath on April 02, 2009, 10:35:15 PM
I step outside the elevator
the elevator steps outside of me
outside of the elevator
where else could I possibly be

Inside my mind I step out
outside my mind to see
Inside my mind I step out
inside to blind to

catch me swinging from a'tree
instead I swagger at it's base
It's rooted tale I must chase
inside to blind to

Hey whats a matter with you there
with the dark eyes staring
to gazed, to glazed
to care

Oh, please don't drop that dime,
sweet jesus!
Please don't drop that dime

makes no sense to catch a case
for an act that
shouldn't be a crime

oh, please, don't drop that dime......

Oh please I beg
just one little dime
nobody need know
I crossed that line

just one tiny fall
for the greater good
of me, of my all

what about my time
it's not your fine line
that crissed and crossed
the devils big boss

it's not your head
rolled over and playing dead
with all the character and mettle
of a bellied up carp

Don't worry, you'll be fine
just drop that dime
further up the line
and we'll all do our best

to live with the rest
