I hate to say it but that site is full of loose nuts and paranoid people. They may occasionally have a good point but most everything I have read there has been fringe paranoia and sensationalized shit.
And what do they want the torrent seeds for? All they talk about is some "Obama deception" video..... ummm ok. So, we are being deceived by a politician? hmm.... never saw that one coming. I expect to be deceived by most people, especially politicians. I still think Obama is doing more good (so far) than the past 5-6 presidents combined.

They had a chance at changing things in the last elections, but missed it. Yeah another paranoid loose nut....Ron Paul.........Yeah only a crazy man would tell the people that the Fed Reserve is about as federal as FedEx.
I hope that you'll be able to discern the fringe paranoia and sensationalized shit that is fed to the masses via mainstream media and realize that the alternative media is just trying to tell you the truth they will not cover.
I've been listening to Alex's site for the past 7 years....I used to research everything he said....(I suggest everyone does)....I gave up when it's 99% accurate.....it's just too depressing........
All I ask is that you view this with healthy skepticism and not twisted bias of the mainstream media.

Seriously, I am as skeptical as they come. No media, be it the normal mass media or the many various outlets you can find on the internet and elsewhere have it completely right. That is why I think everyone should get their news from a wide selection of sources and then, maybe over the course of years, put together a somewhat accurate portrait of reality, whatever that is.
Please don't fall into the common misconception that the entire US is brainwashed by the mass media. I can tell you that many may be, but certainly not everyone is. People are influenced all over the globe by mass media... it is quite tiring to hear that, because one is located somewhere between Maine and California, they must be sheep happily watching and believing whatever is on tv.
There is a growing crowd of us who are trying to change the way things are. It will not happen overnight.

I don't know about that (it seems much too early to say), but he seems to be doing more good than the last one, and I, for one, am thankful for this small thing, because small things are about the only thing that is reasonable to hope for from such a "system" that is politics.

That, however, hasn't changed, and won't anytime soon. I was in my car today and turned on the radio (NPR). There were holding an "in-depth" conversation about Obama's first public approval poll, and just what it "meant."

I have found that his show has news that no other media channel reports....then it come true....it's quite disturbing.
Just look at the Ron Paul campaign coverage in the main stream.
Also I know it's not all in the US, just the masses that need to wake up. What is it, you can fool 28% of the people the whole time.....
As for it being the US, it's not. I was in the UK last year and freaked out with the way the public is near castrated and too afraid to stand up to bullshit smoking bans.....
The other thing that freaked me out was the size of the friggin TV's.....I mean the rooms are only ten feet wide once you're sitting on the sofa you're only a couple of feet away....the screen is 50inches...talk about in your face.....and now they want digital only???seems well suspect if you ask me....
I personally gave up TV back in 99.
I suspect that given the nature of this site most members are awake.....I would just like to spur them in to action....
Many seem fairly keen on planting seeds anyway.

I'm not sure on his anti-choice opinions, guess he doesn't want to promote eugenics, but I have seen that he does promote the stance that it should not be a nanny state,people should have the free choice what to put in their bodies.....and not be forced to take poison......just wait for the bird flu shots, coming soon to a quack near you.
Not sure what kind of free choice you'll get now the Banksters have taken over.

He seemed pretty much marginalized from the start, with all coverage going to the drama in the Democratic party.
Contrast what little coverage he received with that of Dean in the prior election cycle. They were worlds apart politically, but their stories were pretty similar: off-center, dark-horses candidate that started with an amazingly strong ground-swell of grass roots support. With Dean it was plastered everywhere. Paul was marginalized, and barely got a passing reference in the press.

You hit the nail on the head, Z. The media in this country and in many countries is the tool of the oppressor. No one will ever get the nomination let alone the presidency unless they go along with the political agenda of the power brokers. Obama is allowed to break with some of shub's policies but is staying with the two wars of aggression we are already in and with the spying on usa citizens. He made a big show of saying guantanamo will be closed and said something about torture but so what?
It's easy to do more good than shrub. Shrub never did any good except by accident.

Well, here in California we are pretty happy about Obama calling the Feds off the pot stores.
