By taking action (//http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20080930-congress-acts-sort-of-saves-internet-radio.html) this week, both the House and Senate gave web casters and music labels a few more months to work out a royalty rate everyone can live with. Without legislation, Pandora and others might soon have been forced out of business.
Thanks for the news on this, Sid. I think if the web station intends to make money, they should be subject to *reasonable* charges. But stations like ours, with a very small audience and no profit motive involved, will I hope continue to fly under the radar.
