Pic isn't showing suicybe.

Quoteentheogenically potent...

Have you bioassyed this clone? Or is that a guess on appearance?

Don't make false statements.

I believe that's a Trichocereus glaucus, from Sacred Succulents, it's a very nice clone!

Here's a full grown one... //http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/photo/2024801820075508785XoCWJq

it is thought to be entheogenically potent by the probably misinformed seller...

the red spines and blueish skin tone are similar to that of the legendary true peruvians, i dont know if any simpleton like yourself has heard of such tales, noob :P

it will be bioessed when my first 4 pups reach 8 inches, then ill eat one, or wait till ones 12 and eat 8, saving the top 4...

feel free to ignore pessimists like teotz and trust the cactus spirit to make you a better person, sorry teo, this cactus rocks, even for a collecter!

p.s. i mean no harm, just play

There is no way to tell the potency of a clone...

And never trust somebody that wants to sell you something!

Now I never said that wasn't a nice clone, I never said it COULDN'T be entheogenicly potent (but the trade forums is NOT the place to talk about such)

It does indeed look as tho it falls outside the realm of the normal bullshit Trichocereus "peruvianus" (cuzcoensis) that everybody sells, but I think it may be closer to Trichocereus fulvilanus or deserticola, than pachanoi or the other

//http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1313/823541067_c70b2c60bb.jpg?v=0

You have no idea of the scope of the Trichocereus genus, which spreads all the way from Ecuador all the way to Argentina & Chile, know your fuckin' cacti NOOB (God how I hate that word).

There's a really good book, called a "Cactus Oddessy" and of course, there's Mr.Trout's and Mr.Smith's books. Great books if you want to learn, but ya gotta do some reading!

that looks more like a hawaiinicus i know than any peruvians ive seen. has a ton of spines with length, and  the ribs/notching scream familiarity from the red spined hawaiinicuus pup, speaking of which, wanna swap next pups?
hawiianicus for peruvians?

regardless  of thier entheogenic potency its a beautiful cactus without blemish, and so are its immaculate pups

after eating so many brigdesii's and a few pachanoi, id would be honored if ate my own grown with shamanic focus, cactus.

once again yall, ignore teotz he just really wants my cactus and refuses to attest to thier awesomeness :)

jk. again teotz, with a light heart and a spirit of play, just let this roll off your keyboard mate,

p.s. keen on some miracle fruit yet?

Quotethat looks more like a hawaiinicus i know than any peruvians ive seen. has a ton of spines with length, and the ribs/notching scream familiarity from the red spined hawaiinicuus pup

It's Trichocereus huancoensis, not hawaiinicus

It's from Huanco, Peru-

//http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&resnum=0&q=huanuco%20peru&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wi

//http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/photo/2345786330075508785iBDuMK

...and it looks nothing like that! It's spination is completely different, and Huancoensis is really thick, while this clone is rather thin.

Pretty sure no cacti grow in the state of HW, lol.

Quoteafter eating so many brigdesii's and a few pachanoi, id would be honored if ate my own grown with shamanic focus, cactus.

Again, no discussion of entheogenic properties in the trade forum.

Quotekeen on some miracle fruit yet?

Never tryed it, I'd like to tho.

Please just stop trolling man, it's not funny.

Again, Nice cactus tho!

I'd let those get about 3-5 inchs tall before cutting/trading them.[/url]

Play nice, people. There is no need to talk about "false statements" because you have a different opinion. Present your own opinion and let people judge.

Well Suicybe... why don't you show me a pic of a Trichocereus which you believe your "Trichocereus peruvian" is closely related to?

That's a harsh way to talk to a friend...

Why do you act so?

Did I not post a bunch of pics for you?

I'm trying to get you to understand the genus... but I guess you don't wish to do that... because it takes effort, I suppose. I know you are adept in other skills, but don't speak of cacti as if you know about them. I was simply trying to impart the little that I do know...

Good luck in all your adventures!

Quotethat looks more like a hawaiinicus i know than any peruvians ive seen. has a ton of spines with length, and the ribs/notching scream familiarity from the red spined hawaiinicuus pup, speaking of which, wanna swap next pups?
hawiianicus for peruvians?

Look man... you don't even spell peruvianus correctly...

And that's not a type-o it's that way in all his posts...

Stop acting so foolishly, you know I was only tryin' to show you what I thought your cactus was, and you know why. You have a very special cactus... umm... geeze nvm.

QuoteHow about do some real research and get a pic of ANOTHER cactus that looks closely related to yours.

Ahh... you use the same method as the evil christians... turning to insults when you can no longer hold up an argument!

I'll bet you $5 you won't post a pic of a cactus closely related to yours in the next post!

But please... let's stop this ok? None of this matter, again, you have a very nice cactus. Goodnight.

Suicybe is a really nice guy people, just give him so time...

Sigh.......

Both of you need to stop acting this way. This is Avery's forum but I'm sure if he was around he would not approve of this. If you two have a grudge in real life, keep it there. This is not the place for flaming, name calling or general trolling. Both of you have been guilty of these things as well as aggravating the other. We will consider this a friendly warning for now. Keep it up and both or either could end up banned.

Settle arguments with presenting proof. Show photos, links to photos and text from informative sources. Name calling is not proof nor is it an argument. Let the readers decide since you two are not likely to agree on anything.

There's certainly no problem!

I love suicybe! We're very good friends! We're just playin'!

QuoteSettle arguments with presenting proof. Show photos, links to photos and text from informative sources. Name calling is not proof nor is it an argument.

I agree, and that's what I tryed to do, I don't think I called suicybe any names... nothing compared to his last post, that's for sure.

Stoney,

I've been monitoring this conversation and haven't seen anything wrong with it yet......... though it is a bit childish, I have no problem with is as long as it gets resolved before it gets out of hand.

I'm a little tired of hearing people talk about consuming their cactus plants on this forum. That is illegal in most/many parts an not welcome here.

As far as the bickering back and forth, pay no attention to stoney when he is trying to moderate a forum that isn't his. I'm hoping his next power play will get his forum keys taken away.

No, no, no!

I sent Stoney a PM! It's not his fault!

I was trying to get the agruement toned down a little bit.

I also asked Suicybe a number of times to not talk about the entheogenic effects of cacti in the trade forum.
Title:

You sent a pm.

Stoney decided to get involved.

But Avery runs this show.

Well I asked for a mod to help out...

And stoney was the one I sent the PM to, so I'm glad he did what I asked him.

Thanks to both Stoney and Avery and all the other mods!
Title:
Post by: laughingwillow on September 06, 2008, 05:35:12 PM
Maybe it would be best to start sending pm's to the mod of a specific forum. Stoney has been asked on numerous occasions to refrain from modding other's forums and he has a tough enough time holding to that plan without someone asking him to get involved.

Btw, for the short time you have been here I've received more than one pm from you asking for assistance in solving personal issues. From the looks of things, you bring a ton of personal issues to these forums. How about trying to grow up and behave a little eh? You have broke most every forum rule since coming around and I'm growing weary of your particular brand of immature shite.
