Title: How is everyone?
Post by: dissident2 on June 13, 2008, 04:27:39 PM
Its been a while since I have had internet service, so I am just wondering how everyone is doing these days.  I lost the password to my other username, and the email address that goes with that name is long lost.  So, for now, I will just use this name.  By the way, cenacle, that last poem you sent to my wife's email was the best one yet, in my opinion.

Thanks stonehenge, and good to 'see' all of you again.  As for writing, Judih, I have not done much more than make a few notes now and again, that I never get around to refining.  I am more content to read than write at this point, sort of in a 'information gathering' mode.  Judih or anyone else have any good collections of poetry/short story links?  If so, post them

Title: High from the Himalayas
Post by: fuzz on July 05, 2008, 05:21:19 AM
hey there fellow plant freaks,

i hope all is good for everyone on whichever parts of the world you might be.

Here, in Kathmandu Nepal all is good. With friends, the Universal Peace Foundation http://www.universalshanti.org/ (http://www.universalshanti.org/), we work on various projects, such as plantations, education projects, and been painting an orphenage.
You can find out more information here, or ask any questions if any of you plan to visit that part of the world:
http://universalpeacegathering.blogspot.com/ (http://universalpeacegathering.blogspot.com/)
UPF is organizing a big gathering for 2010, all souls welcome to come and share information about life, the Universe and everything.
Only requirement: Don't forget to bring your towel;)

I have some question related to plants and Nepal, if anyone has any information to share.
The mountains here, we're right in the Himalayas, and the weather, seems to me perfect for various shamanistic plants growing. Yet, hemp is the main crop. Does anyone has information about other plants being used in this part of the world? besides datura?
The area would be perfect for South American type plantings, if anyone has plans for importing psychedelic gardens around the world.

Title: Still
Post by: space on July 06, 2008, 09:59:04 PM
Here in the Space Time Continuum, things remain groovy, life continues to rock.

Hair:  Thinner, grayer, nearing 57.

Heart:  Still pounding, still surviving rpm challenges  :D

Legs:  Of steel, thank you, lately hiking peaks of Scotlands Caingorm mts.

Mind:  So clear I can see yesterday and tomorrow alla time.  My teenage grandchildren begin to think there is more to gramps than meets the eye... 8)

What more could I ask?

Hey Spaceman, I'm 56 too! Life is good, 'cept the part about the body wearing out.

Hey JR!

Checked in here just now listening to Neil Young's 1990 Ragged Glory...god I love that fuzzy garage funked sound!

I don't know when/how he learned to make his guitar lope like a wolf, but it still works.  No wonder the indie kids love 'im, time after time.

Yeah, the whole physical dissolution thing sucks; my knees seem to be growing extra joints.

I hope the boys in the lab are working on that

Space- I'm sure they are but that shipped may have sailed for folks our age. BUt my view of aging has been changing, it seems to me that people don't change on the inside its just the machine the crumbles. I been playing with an 86 year old piano player and she is all the way there.

I was a huge Neil Young fan as a kid, I think when I heared him I thought: "I could do that". I think maybe now I like him more than I like his music.

I had always liked Neil..but when I went to see the theatrical release of Rust Never Sleeps, I gotta admit I was blown away...  Couldn't get over how much energy he could wring outta that guitar...  made me respect his abilities alot more and view him as more of a consummate guitarist than I had realized.......

You ever hear the record he did about 5 or 6 years ago called "Are You Passionate"? He has a song about taking his daughter for a walk on the forest floor. I couldn't but wonder if he was talking about the fungus.

I am now the aunt of a little boy named Bilal. I was there with my sis during delivery, her husband still waiting for a visa from Soudan.
It was my first delivery. I thought i'd pass out or throw up, but i remained totally comb.
The strangest thing to me was the absolute normality of the thing; the miracle seemed to be in how unusual things are.
The kid and sis have been back home for a couple weeks, everyone is doing fine.

My little nephew was my reason for coming to france for a month, so i could help my sis. I will now go back for more India and Nepal. Weeehhhh.

I send a lot of love to all the old spiritplanters i have known. I hope all is good on your side of wherever you are.
Keep on being spirited and keep on planting.

Peace and happiness to all:)

All in circle raise warm hands and chant OM---Bilal!

What a nice experience for you all  :e_biggrin:

I have been blessed to midwife for 9 births. So I needed to stay calm. The spirit definitely guides during the transitions of life.  :cool3

Hey, glad to hear you are still alive and kicking. Wondered where you were.

And I hope you stay this time.  Save your passwords on a sheet of paper and store them some where in your home with your birth certificate or similar valuable papers. Then you will never lose them.

Oh yes, Cenacle's poetry is the boss.
