Dale Pendell (I know him slightly)
Daniel Pinchbeck
Paul Devereux
Shulgins
Bruce Eisner (I know him slightly too)
Earth and Fire of Erowid.org

maybe I'll add more if I think of them but this is off the top...the ones in the list I know I'd be willing to contact...

I'd like us to get some of these folks interviewed on the radio station too...

And maybe we could set up some kind of special archives for the growing number of transcripts we have...

My feeling is we should try for some of these icons, maybe not plant people per se, but cultural figures. And don't think anyone is out of reach, I had Kesey lined up, but hen he died before he could come on.

HI Peter Stafford is dead.  I just recently worked with him on his revised Psychedelic Encyclopedia re-issues as individual books.

His Magic Mushroom book has numerous photos and a cover by me. He also did the Ayahuasca and psychedelics book.  Others never came about. He died of alcoholism and other complications in a homeless shelter near SF.

Write Alan Shoemaker for a chat. He is the ayahuasca expert and shamanic preparer of that plant in Peru.  sets up all kinds of ceremonies and conferences on ayahuasca.  ANd jungle excursions of other entheogenic preparations from the Peruvian Amazon.

When did Stafford die? I met him in 1995 in Golden Gate Park. Big concert at the band shell. he was sitting selling copies of his book. When i realized who it was I sat down and we talked about psychedelics and addiction. He told me off a suicidal woman saved by MDMA.

His book seems a bit quaint with all the new information of the internet age, but when I found it in 93 it was a revelation. Peter told me that information on psychedelics was doubleing every three years. RIP!!

Beverly Potter of Ronin Books sent me the info. I worked with Peter on his chapter on Magic Mushrooms recently published by Ronin. I did the cover for that book, helped in the editing and corrections and provided a few dozen photos or so before he died.

I'd like to have a guest chat with Roky Erikson, but I doubt he would agree to it.  Woody Harrelson is an idea someone mentioned in the distant past...

Rick Doblin might be good.  He was just listed as the only American researcher , ethno researcher to attend Albert Hoffmans funeral..  (is that true???) seems odd....

Andrew Sewell would be a good choice!  I've met him, and we have a common friend.

Dr. Dave Nichols would be my choice if I was a dictator, but I'm not sure if he'd do it.  He answers email though ;)

Dennis McKenna is very friendly also.

I've had some contact with eack of them, and Rick Strassman, although I'm SURE I'm not the only SPF member whose talked to him!
