Title: Gitmo and the US Supreme Court

Heard a pretty good discussion/analysis on the prisoner detainee-rights issue this morning on NPR...  Senor is thinking the cout is actually gonna rule against the administration and issue a restraint-cease and desist orderas well as pave the way for Habeus Corpus hearings....  I maen sure, it should have been done long ago, but now, since by the Spring Bush and his henchmaen will be gone, I really think the court will finally give those detainees some rights to a bit of the old due process......

Yeah, spring of 09 we will be rid of smirky mc'chimp. Not that he has much to smirk about lately. Trouble is, that his likely replacement is all in favor of keeping troops indefinitely in Iraq and regards Iran as terrorists.

The constitution was shredded long ago by several of smirky's executive orders and the press has been silent. They can search your home without a warrant, arrest you without charges or judicial review and even send you out of the country for torture without you being allowed a lawyer. Now the supreme court is finally going to look into something. Hurray.
