Title: starting Tabernaemontana orientalis seeds
Post by: dogbane26 on October 29, 2007, 12:38:18 AM
I found a source for some fresh seeds but I was wondering if it is absolutely necessary that they have warm temperatures to germinate?

I cant provide them where I live outdoors since summer is over, and I dont have a grow light or any heatmats.  I wish I could control the conditions.

Does anyone know if a few might germinate anyways if not high temperatures are used?

Also if interested private message me and I can see if I can spare some seeds for you to trade..etc.

I have no idea but I imagine they need fairly warm temps. I sprouted a tab variety a while back. Can't you sprout them indoors? A modem or top of a monitor will serve as a heat pad.
