On this week's show:

Featured New Rock Album: Buffalo Tom, *Three Easy Pieces* (2007)...first album in nearly a decade for this Boston indie rock trio, one I'd known of but not heard any music by...this return album grows more pleasing in the ear by each listen, in its loud & its softer moments...they return to rocking together for all the right reasons...

Featured Classic Rock Album: The Animals, *The Twain Shall Meet* (1968)...this UK band started out in more of a blues vein but by 1968 they'd dipped into Dr. Hofmann's brew enough to be ready to wander through all sorts of wild soundscapes...

Storybook Time: Epilogue to *The Long Trip: A Prehistory of Psychedelia* Paul Devereux...

Readings from *Why?* fixtion & *Many Musics* poems...& this week's featured artist is Supertramp, a UK back from back when that made smart, funny, kooky, great music...world turns and turns again, does it really change in time, or rearrange and again? Returning to the airwaves after two weeks off wondering about this...

Ever growing green & good webcasting from Seattle USA!!

On this week's show:

Featured New Rock Album: Spoon, *Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga* (2007)...rocking Texas band new set of songs is spooky, exotic, subtly pleasing to a casual listen, but wonderfully more so to a closer one…this album moves smoothly among classic pop, blue-eyed soul, and deft minimalism…I discovered the deeper I pushed, the more rewards this album contained to reveal...

Featured Classic Rock Album: The Traveling Wilburys, *Vol. 1* (1988)...this album magically emerged from the murky dregs of late-1980s music and what a treasure it is!...Seems George Harrison invited his friends Bob Dylan, Jeff Lynne, Roy Orbison, and Tom Petty over, almost randomly, and they made a song intended as a B-side single…But it was too good to toss off, so they figured hell, let’s make an album…20 years later, its goofy, sweet, rocking, and slyly philosophical charms glow brighter than ever

Storybook Time: Epilogue to *The Long Trip: A Prehistory of Psychedelia* Paul Devereux...

Readings from *Why?* fixtion & *Many Musics* poems...& this week's featured artist is Led Zeppelin, some fabulous freaky live tracks to burst open this ordinary Saturday…Bill Hicks will appear too, and David Lynch, and who knows who else in voice and spirit…here it goes again!

I cannot wait for some Bill Hicks, sounds like it will be one helluva show, I'll do my best to attend. I know you have been reading from The Long Trip: A Prehistory of Psychedelia, my question is, do you read it in order or do you choose a spot and random?
