Neat, very interesting and educational, great pix. Thanks for posting that.

I forwarded the URL to my Dad. His property's taxed as a nature reserve, rather than agricultural land. In the 20+ years he's been here he's planted a lot of walnut trees, and many other trees have volunteered. Enough to really change the appearance of the land. Lots of different animal tracks in the snow, too.

The neighboring land, except for watercourses, is all soy and corn fields.
