Title: Kratom Cuttings: Success at last!!
Post by: VajraPirate on October 18, 2006, 07:31:06 PM
At least 50% rooted cuttings after about three weeks in a bubbler tub. The lid cut to fit sixpack seedling starters...

The cuts were first dipped generously in rooting gel and then coated in powdered hormone, then sat snugly into the perlite filled containers, with two strip-style air bubblers. Added half a tsp powdered hormone to the resevoir once a week when I changed the water. I eventually got lazy about that...

Came back and checked today and Viola!! Roots!!

Yay!  :P

Lol, yeah I only wished I live somewhere where I could actually plant them in the ground. Then it'd be a forest indeed!! For now it'll just have to be a room full of kratom plants, until spring when I move them to 5gal containers and put them outside to really start blasting off!!

I forgot to mention they didn't begin to set roots until the rez reached 80f or above.
