A friend I made at Burning Man 2006 has a really cool website that sells art prints. He is looking to hire a freelance PHP person to fix a pre-existing PHP interface.
What he is working on can be found at www.nemosutopia.com (http://www.nemosutopia.com). He wants to move his wares from Ebay to his own storefront. PM me if you have mad PHP skillz and want the chance to earn some coin
Very neat stuff! I am probably too expensive for your friend, not to mention very busy and not too hot on e-commerce development. If you don't find anyone else, you might want to try guru.com.

Yah his site is great, and he is a very cool guy. I'm sure someone will come up. I knew SPF would be my source for helping him out, so many freakin' techies hang out here and the chat
What does he want it to do? What is the end result that he wants?
I believe what he wants to do is migrate his store from eBay to his own website, whose address is listed above...
Cenacle - thanks so much for your help in trying to find someone - and now for turning me onto a nice forum!
Just to respond to the details myself -
- The main job -
I have a pre-existing PHP database-interface that allows me to make web pages by filing out a form. Super snazzy and quick. The problem is, it allows 3 levels of organization (gallery, category, image) and for the new project I need 4 (gallery, category, SUBCATEGORY, image) - and I don't know how to do it myself.
-extra credit-
The ideal for an extra improvement would also allow me make 1 page appear in two places.... for instance, if I wanted to have a special page for each artist and their works, and then have a page just for posters - to have the same poster page appear twice by selecting that option would be a nice touch.
anyway - that about sums it up. :)
welcome to this forum Nemo.
