nice to meet you to.  My name is Avery, I like pizza.  do you like pizza? (edit)  That is, I mean, thanks for just coming right out with your requests and all.  Is so refreshing to meet someone who would rather not bother introducing themselves or take the time to make aquantances before getting into the meat of things.  By all means, use us as your personal hookup site.

....... that is, speak clearly into the microphone please.

According to your post count, you have posted a whopping 3 times. I assume your first post was in this forum.

This isn't a trading based site. It is a discussion based site.

If you took the time to post in some of the forums or talk with us about your plants or the ones you seek, you'll find people to be much less sarcastic in tone. This site is not elitist, but people who come around just to trade or spam are definately frowned upon.

Take some time, get to know some people, have fun, talk plants... Then start trading, that's my advice.

Welcome to SpiritPlants. Have a slice of pizza, :P I like pepperoni and mushroom, myself.

Woah, woah, I've never had such harsh treatment here and I was one of the biggest nubs around.... well maybe not the biggest.

I dont remember my first post, but I do believe it was in the trading section.

If the poster is not some bum teenager asking for the next alternative to MJ, I think a more welcoming approach to bringing him into the community would be better, though I can understand everyone's innitial reaction.

Badaboom.
Yeah, the greeting I posted was a rather harsh greeting...... and pre-meditated, I agree with all the above posts.  Please allow me to offer up my sincere opologies Phungivore if I offended.

I meant no disrespect, just making a point of etiquet.  In retrospect I hope you not think too harshly of the site, but only upon my own rudeness.  Yah see, we have alot of liability issues that have yet to truly surface around here.  The request was sincere and to the point, I don't fault you.  Was just nosing around the bit with my own interpretation of form.  My reply was meant to be sarcastic, to spark discussion, but not to judge.... I guess it didn't come across that way.

It's a delicate path we tread working in this niche field of interest you understand.  Just about any yahoo can stroll into here and trade for something that could get themselves into trouble.... an underage kid for instance.  It helps to set us at ease if certain forms are followed.  Some hint from the new guy that they are genuine and not just some drug seeker or somebody writing a term paper on how easy it is to buy something to get them fucked up on the internet..... or something equally as incriminating or dangerous along those lines.

So yeah, I guess I provoked out of some sense of propriety, however possibly misplaced that was or sounds.

my bad.  Lets start over.

My name is Avery, welcome to spiritplants!  I see your interested in (insert interest here.)  Cool!  Me too.  Mmmmm, puffer fish pizza, with mushrooms! :D

well its no doubt that i have treversed these waters and am an responsable adult . i totaly feel ya man cause 1 lil irresponsable kid gets in touble then they say to there parents i learned it at www.getf***edup.com (http://www.getf***edup.com) , then the 900 lb gorilla would be breathing up and down your necks. i was just being nieve
and forgetting about that element. for me 1 of my passions in life is is the knowledge of entheogenic plants & Fungi.  these teacher plants got good lessons to teach for the non thrill seeker.in the case of salvia i think it freeks those out that are trying to use it for a cheap thrill , the lady is there for the lessons she teachs, hence the thrill seeker get messed up in a way to scare them. but once you third eye is in tune then that is when the teacher teachs her most valuble lesson.

Avery no hard feelings man , but obviously you came through to me in a different way thenyou intened, wich i fully understand it was for the better of the community. you had no idea where i was coming from, i see a few here from the topia, wich is where i prolly am alot better known.  for a little while i felt like i pissed some one off, wich was not my intention. now i feel alot more welcome.
