Do these blends seem good to you. I know many of the plants here make you hallucinate and make you "alter your state", but have you tried any of these Herbal smoking mixtures?
I have already obtained the "base" of willow bark and lemon balm and mint.

Also, what other kinds of paper (coffee filters, printing paper, tissues) beside rolling papers are good for rolling herbs to smoke :?:
I would be really careful when exploring unknown herbs. Once when I was walking, I picked some sage leaves. I started to quid them, for their flavor, and nearly had a resperatory attack
rife you sure it was sage or was it just coated in something? pesticides?
and also go google, herbalsmoke better buisness buerea (spelling?) and google the company name (says who they are on there site (something like healthy matters co.?) they are a ripp off the hawaiian budz are nothing more than wild dagga compressed together to look like budz
also i used that site when determining my herbal blend (i accually ended up buying a blend off of ebay very good taste to it seller was theherbcorner based in killen texas very trustworthy young lady) but i liked my main herb to be damiana it was a unique taste that provided a very very faint calming sensation (only lasted as long as the smoke) but over all a very pleasant smoke! also added spearmint and peppermint along with a little indian tobacco and some others i cannot thing of righ now and again welcome
I've tried a few different varieties of Pedicularis sp. They're excellent for smoking blends. Pedicularis densiflora is very potent. Pedicularis canadensis seems to be more of an aphrodesiac than the other varieties.
Here is an article on those fake buds.

Most of these things are made up of mullein and wild lettuce. Both of which are pretty worthless. Wild dagga, wormwood, garden sage and catnip can start out with a mild MJ like effect, but even those will either fade off quick or switch to a more benzo like effect. As for dogbane, that is just plain poison, and that one is most likely the thing that gave the author of the article a big headache.
There are some newer "Spicy" products out there too. However, some of the ones that are alleged to be almost as good as MJ are actually much more expensive than MJ per dose.
