I did, 18 months ago on an exercise bike while in Brookfield, CA near Santa Cruz amongst the redwoods.

An interesting book to read in a very healthy and beautiful part of the country.

my bad, BrookDALE.
I should have said Brookdale, CA.
It is 12 miles from Santa Cruz.
There's an old lodge there.

Guess where I stayed?
Here (//http://www.brookdalelodge.com/)

BTW - I posted a photo of the buff Mrs. Winder standing on a Redwood stump from that vacation.  But photos are gone from the old board after the server migration, blah, blah, blah.

Indeed read the book in the post topic.
It's an easy short read and interesting.

Our dogs tried to read it. Suka laid down, let out a sigh and went to sleep. Skyla took her copy outside and we haven't seen it since.
