Title: How do I make Pharm grade kanna?
Post by: rah on April 13, 2006, 11:09:58 PM
I have been growing kanna for over a year now and have a bunch of plants and cuttings.   I have tried the preperation where you put the fresh kanna in a plastic or leather bag, leaving the bag slightly open and leaving it in the sun.  Letting it forment for 48 hours, then dry and powder.

Can anyone help me figure this out.  I realy dont want to go and buy some pharm grade kanna when I have so much ready to harvest.
Thanks
Rah.

Many thanks for the reply but I have tried this technique.  its not the pharmacutical grade im looking for.  Its just the traditional way.I am still very sure it is fermented,  im curious if they do some sort of extraction on the plant after it is fermented. Anyone every try it??

Edit: Fixed errors and to add.

Iv learned that pharm grade is most likly made from older plants. tho im not certain yet.
