Title: Supreme Court Hears Aya Case
Post by: senorsalvia on October 20, 2005, 01:17:24 PM
The court will hear the case on November 1....  This is the case that Gonzales has been losing every step of the way so far.....  Let us hope for the sake of all who love freedom, for all that value diversity of religious practise, that the Supreme Court will side with the 3 lower courts verdicts and that this hysterical witch hunt will end....  Senor has his hopes up for this one as he sees it as a steppingstone to a much broader application for all US citizenry to practise thier own brand of accesing the Divine..  Hopefully, here in this reppresed AmeriKKKa, the chains of bondage may be loosening--------------- sal

Do I think so? :?:   I'd have to say I'm guardedly optimistic, both by the nature of the case and also by the past three rulins that have all been in favor of the plaintiffs and against the government....   Try www.udvusa.com (http://www.udvusa.com)  for a decent overview...  Hit the ling to the amicus curaie briefs for an uplifting look at the mainline organizations that are going on record to support the Aya church.....   You may also want to look at the American Bar Associations web site..  There, you will be able to read the breifs filed previously in thier entirety......     sal

The court won't have 9 members by Nov. 1 will they?
Won't that be interesting?
Or is SDO'C still on until miss-never-a-judge is confirmed and sworn?
