Yah, LizJah, that's a rarity.  Between red wine for my heart and this Nature's Rejuvenating Vapors for my brain cells, I may get so healthy I can hardly walk

Who's gonna tell senorsal that they've caught on to our little Methusaleh secret?

"The results suggest that marijuana, or its derivatives, could actually be good for the brain" Well duh

I like tha part about a high dose twice a day. Maybe we should up it to 4 times a day just to be safe.

i've been researching health aids for KD's Multiple Sclerosis...she only has minor symptoms now, nothing too bad, but I want to be able to deal when she does have some flare-ups...above link is interesting...

Yeah, everybody knows they figure doses for little people:  any regular sized person has to at least double down...besides, our brain:body ratios are higher than mice.

I wonder why the second study mentioned showed no neuroregenerative effects? Makes you wonder if they gave a less potent or bioactive form of the drug?

this rat can verify the neuroprotective effects of cannabis. it is helping and healing me, something I never could really say with anti-seizure pharms. and the relaxation effects of a small amount of wine several times a week enhances the health promoting effects, imo.

dont get all excited too soon, the beneficial chem in this case was a synthetic cannabinoid, not a naturally occuring chem.
thats why the 2nd study showed no effect as it used a natural cannabinoid, the main psychoactive, delta-9-thc...

there is alot of promise in new cannabinoids, lots of exciting finds all the time, the pharma dpt here at uni is quite active in this sorta research atm.

jus a side note, upping 2 4x a day would be more detrimental 2 ya memory that good :P but thc is neuroprotective to other insults...

Cenny, im sure you come across CBD (cannabidiol), has promise for anti spacticity im MS, and that one is a natural product  folk  8)
there are a few preperations already on the market so fingers crossed you can get a hold of some where you are cenny...
