Late one night, after a heavy meal,
I ventured forth into Balstack Forest.
Not sure what I was looking for,
or what I might find,
I set out aimlessly into the heart of Balstack.
Balstack Forest is famous
for its grey squirrel population.
The grey squirrels of Balstack
are said to be the most intelligent,
most athletic, and most feared squirrels
in all of the animal kingdom.
So peculiar are these squirrels,
that they build nests atop the giant
Oak clusters, forming joined
"apartment" like complexes.
I never truly believed what I'd heard
about the Balstack squirrels,
until I came across just such a conurbation.
The thing that surprised me the most
about their society
was the literacy rate.
